Day 2 of the heatwave beckons; doing outdoor A.M. chores 2 beat the heat-yesterday hit 105 F. Today is projected at only 90F. Jeeze! A veritable ice age!!??: We've had power glitches as the electric service strains to keep all the air conditioners operating during peak hours....combined with P G &E actually turning off power to prevent major fires as the CA fire season has already commenced. We've just had the relatively minor 'Ink Fire' to the north in the Napa Valley...now fully contained after two days.
