AA = Anti-aliasing. One of it's main uses is to smooth out jagged edges and lines.
You can activate it for SH3 at any time during the game; I do it once the actual "gameplay" screen is loaded. I.e., the sub view if you will.


The key combo shift-pgup adds AA to the view; each time you do the key combo adds one step. The combo shift-pgdn reduces AA one step at a time.


Go to the bridge view and look at the uzo while you try the key combos and you'll see how it works.
