How can I know IUB is installed for sure ? (I installed with JGSMe after removing RUB and various other mods).
Further is RUB1.45 installed at the same time ? (I have a doubt).

First, I do believe that JonZ came out with a final IUB1.03. If you're not seeing the 'new' Improved Uboat wallpaper that includes the credits to JonZ and oRGy then 1.03 was not enabled. The thing to watch out for when you install IUB1.03 using the JGSME is that after installing it into the SHIII Mods folder, if you were to look into the folder, you will find that there is, in fact, an
IUB1.03 folder in there but then you'll also find that
that folder has a
subfolder named
Improved Uboat 1.03. What you need to do is
copy the "Improved Uboat 1.03" subfolder into the Mods folder then you may delete the IUB1.03 folder thats listed in the SHIII Mods folder. You'll also find within the Improved Uboat 1.03 folder that there is a Mods folder where you have the various options (including the Full version of Rub1.45) which you may choose to enable or not and then you'll start noticing plenty of activity in port.
