Some time ago I made a mod which adds the S-class sub to SH3 both in surfaced and submerged versions

http://www.u-boot.realsimulation.com/. However, to get them in the campaign, you need to script them in. It is kind of fun to track down the submerged enermy sub. These subs are planned to be introduced in the next version of the U-boat War Ace by Travinski.
I still need to find some time to replace the diesel motor sound by that of electric for the submerged version.
