Yeah I'm using WoS.
On the current save (with the Kiel problem) I've not gone to the Mediterranean. I started the "Western Approaches" campaign instead. So I started in Lorient and was offered the mission there.
Thanks for the guide btw, I'll try changing my home port to Kiel when I get home from work.
