Funny you should mention that. My mom forwarded me a CNN story about insulin prices. So the ARTICLE/headline was how Cigna is only charging $25 for a month supply, but if you watch the video with the story, it doesn't even mention that lil tidbid of info, BUT it does talk about how people are dying because they can't afford their insulin, so they take very little or none at all.
My first thought was, my diabetes Doctor told me, if I ever get in a jam, Walmart sells generic insulin w/o a prescription for.....$25 a bottle.
So I have Cigna and they made me get a 90 supply, which I though would be $75. Nope, I paid...…….$25! That's around $3k of insulin. I feel like I just robbed a bank.
