The only AI battles i’ve Seen in my silent hunter career, are in SH5 and SH3...never SH4.

Playing SH4, using TMO and RSRD, I have seen a battle between ABDA surface ships and Japanese surface ships just north of Surabaya around February 27, 1941. I submerged and got in a shot at a Japanese light cruiser, missed and my S-Boat got pounded in 180 feet of water, but I survived. I have seen Battle of Coral Sea and Battle of Midway in let's play videos, though was never in position to partake in either of these.
I recommend hanging around just north of Surabaya on Feb 27, if you want to see a surface battle. Not sure if it takes place in FOTRS.
