I had this too. Around me chaos started with ships turning in all directions. I was so totally confused I could not make another attack.

Heres a part of that chaos:

Some ships must have gone mad: they were heading in the opposite direction than others..
or do convoys sometimes divide into 2 - perhaps 2 convoys shared some of the same way (and escorts..)
