I agree with the other posters.
1. He would not be taken alive
2. The other Germans with him would not allow him to be taken alive
3. We would not take him alive
4. If for some chance he was, he would die in captivity, probably trying to escape or slipping on a piece of soap. These accidents would occur after a prolonged interrogation away from prying eyes.
