I would then contact Ubisoft with a picture of that page and complain most vociferously that they advertised it as a "Gold Edition", which is v1.5 with Uboat Missions Add-on...
For your other original copy, you can bring it up to v1.4 with
The v1.4 Patch, unless you have a Steam version... There are still a few mods that use v1.4, just not too many. Webster has some small mods, and then there are the older TMO & RFB versions, as well as FOTRS v2.0 (not FotRSU).
