The situation here in Australia isn't much better, only 21mm (0.8") for September and October combined here in the lower Mid North of South Australia. Crops have all failed here and being bailed for stock feed, much the same over the rest of Australia.
They reckon it is going to be a bad fire season here, hope not.
Very sad to see all the damage and deaths over there, what a horrible way to die.
I hope it ends soon.
