A rollback simply does the opposite - it removes the changes that SH3Cmdr has made and returns the backed up files to SH3. The end result being that SH3Cmdr leaves SH3 just how it originally found it.
This is why it is so important to rollback SH3Cmdr PRIOR to making any other SH3 file changes (ie installing or removing mods or making file tweaks).
