Curry is indeed a mixture of several ingredients, and they vary.. afaik there is always Curcuma, Cumin and Haldi, with a lot of other varying quantities of spices. No curry spice mixture is the same: from hot/spicy to sweet, there's a lot to adjust it to your taste, or the meal intended..

I guess our english or indian friends here know more about those different curries
