Gee you're having a rough time of things though it sounds like it is finally working out, having an old computer running XP won't be of any help to you.
I hope you get it all sorted soon.
BTW, 90% of my programs will not run on Win 10 or Linux so I am stuck with XP, might have to do something about changing my dual boot laptop from Win 10/Linux to Win XP/Linux, if it can be done easy enough!!
