As for Michelle, she toes the party line, so I don't always agree with her. I'm probably closer to Libertarian, but even that doesn't always fit.
The Fascist references are just a way to avoid actually using Hitler's name. The Europeans have been programmed that Hitler was as evil as evil gets. Unfortunately, in comparison to Stalin, The Great Khan, and Chairman Mao,
Hitler was a complete n00b. Hitler was an amateur in comparsion to the Great Khan; but Europeans (and Americans, by liberal proxy) are just concerned with references to Hitler. So, references to Hitler are made under the pretext of Fascism. I guess because he is the most popular example of a Fascist government. Any time someone uses the word "fascist", they are making a reference to Hitler. They are calling you Hitler, or they are calling something a Nazi. One of the two.
As far as the internment camps are concerned, we also should have been rounding up Communists. I am in the belief that our State Department had Soviet spies in it's ranks. We prevented the Japanese from waging a guerrila war within our states, but it took 12 years to address the communist problem. It's unfortunate for all the innocent immigrants, but I blame
JAPAN for putting in that kind of position to start with.
Had it not been for Japan, we'd never have had the internment camps.
