sober was always experimenting with his mods as they were an overall part of his mega mod.
He might have to tweak a mod to work with another.
You can see this with this mod as it is version 6.
If you take his best ever fog mod you are looking at version 31.
So while it might not work for you in your game it may well have worked in his mega mod with the other 100 mods in it.
