Nice website, that would be sweet to have a Colt Ace, if they re-manufactured the design. I have an Osprey book on the 1911. Yeah its hard to unravel the corporate acquisition structure of who owns who. That is why I thought it would be fun to post about to find out if someone in Germany would know more about Umarex. If I remember the engravings on the gun correctly it said it was imported by Walther Arms and made by Walther in Germany. Which makes you think it was made at the Walther facility there. But someone did an indepth video on the proof marks on the gun to show it must have been made at the Umarex facility. Yes Umarex owns Walther but they have two different manufacturing facilities. Its like some corporate shell game to keep you guessing.

* These are the older proof marks, I can't seem to find a picture of the modern ones.
