Can't hold their own in a bar fight??!! They were outnumbered 21 to 3 (battleship boys on leave) and he took out six of them by himself before they finally got him.
I've never seen any crew shot by the captain for running away from a bar fight. How realistic is that?
As to the Chronometer/Rudder Indicator question, just look in the 'Optional Mods' folder for NYGM. I think you'll find the fix is included right there.
