What i hate about my car? Almost everything
I don't get spare parts easily anymore, and i need a new rear right door. The engine has run about 450000 miles, and directly after starting the Turbo is blowing out black smoke until it gets its revs.
Fuel consumption is outstanding though: more than 67 miles per gallon for a car from 1983, and the two horns work and are loud enough. What's more they are located directly in the middle of the wheel

I just hesitate to buy one of those newish electronic monsters. I do not want a car to lock the doors automatically (i always lose my keys in the car), i do not want Xenon or LED or what's it called control electronics that go haywire every 3 years, i do not even want ABS or ESP. Airbags are a useful invention, but ... electronic fail everywhere.
And this new "design" makes me puke. Those Audis or BMWs or the new Range Rover, like Arnold Schwarzenegger on steroids, with a "face" design and "eyebrows" like done by a Mickey Mouse comic illustrator.
Or those SUVs like the Cayenne or BMW X6, like moving cancerous ulcers.
Ridiculous. I am sure i would hate a new car even more.

For daily driving I am currently looking for a used
a) Citroen Xantia Estate/station/touring(?) 2.0 TCT or the 3l version
or
b) MG ZT 190 T touring (nice engine but skew-whiffed ugly front)
or
c) an old Volvo without rust (reasonable, but ugly)
or
d) an affordable and rust-free Citroen CX Break (impossible )

For having fun, this is a completely different, but i would look for a Triumph Spitfire Mk III, or a TR4. The new Renault Alpine also has something, but .. ugly instruments, electronics, and.. 50,000 Euros
