Get to Freetown and wait submerged; the enemy will come to you; using the refuel/refit at Vichy French Dakar, it is possible to nurse a type VII all the way to Cape town, alternately on surface and submerged at low fuel-saving speed, and back to Dakar; The transports will go there (at Capetown) also; NOTE: this was on my unmodified disk game before it became unsupported by ubisoft. At Freetown it is very shallow in the harbor but sufficient for concealment and movement; but after one eel apiece at the stopped transports-sitting ducks, some transports do get under way, attempting to escape, but are still slow moving easy targets. Watch your eel depth setting as transports do not have much draft.
