It would definitely be helpful in some scenarios. I guess a benefit is that the Perry can only ever guide two SAMs, so that part isn't too bad
If you have autocrew on for the Perry, though, you don't have to worry about designating incoming missiles as engage-able targets, though, the autocrew will do that. So it's basically point and click.
