It seemed to me that the rain got heavier at times, but weather report always reported 'no rain'. On the way back to base, Fremantle, the next day, turned into a gale. Now, weather report, say's 'heavy rain'. Next day, clearing skies and the next, clear skies all the way back. Odd.
Which reminds me. On the way back, ran into ship and gave chase. Did set up and fired two torps. Panicked when flag was not meatball, but Australian(?). Missed. If ship was hit, what happens? Was then really surprised when ran into another ship 100 miles north of Australia. It had a meatball and didn't miss.
