We know it, we had it before, this cannot be any good, right - a computer game, no - even worse - a console game ("Squeak! let me outa here...!") being turned into a movie - that can only result in the biggest crap the cinemas have ever seen. We had it before, "Wing Commander", "Resident Evil", "Doom" - oh how explicitly they demonstrated the truth of this statement: computer games on movie screens are BAD!

http://www.heise.de/tp/r4/artikel/22/22636/1.html of the famous PS-game "Silent Hill", and I have googled and saw that there are quite some reviews in English language as well. judguing by the German review I linked, this movie promises to be quite a good one, and leading far beyond the usual dilletantic transportation from game to film format.
What do you think? Has anyone seen it? Could you share your impression?
