Thanks. On Windows 10 I had no further Mods activated: only the main LSH3 mod and the wide screen mod.

So far with Windows 7 everything seems to work perfectly. So I will simply revert to playing SH3 on Win7.

BTW:
I downloaded the UPlay version of SH3 for use with Windows 7, since I couldn't reinstall my older version (said it was activated too often), and it case you don't know: it seems to be missing the "radius.tga" file in the data/menu/gui/layout folder.
On Windows 10 I used the older version I once downloaded via amazon.
