Great introduction as well. You are in good company with your liking simulations. If you are just starting to play Silent Hunter 3, there are a great number of modifications for it that will greatly enhance your enjoyment of the game and the gameplay itself. Add on's for SH3 include GWX 3.0 gold, LSH, NYGM among others that essentially make it a whole different game.
