Hello all,

I'm new to the game and I just had a quick question. I just finished my 8th patrol after sinking 4 merchant ships. In port, I was offered a promotion and desk job and it said it would end my sea career. I declined the promotion to stay at sea but my renown decreased. Does anyone have any guidance on this? should I have accepted the promotion?
