Not sure if there was fog, didn't look like it though.
I remember reading somewhere that editing a certain game file with a "visibility" coefficient can help the issue with AI spotters. Don't remember the name of the file though (nor the coefficient in question for that matter)...
I got DC'd for about an hour but got away with no damages, such a shame though as I might have been able to sink the darn thing!
