to recap, according to the BBC, the Obama administration made 3 requests for FISA warrants to spy on the Trump campaign. Apparently,
the first 2 applications were rejected by FISA judges.
It is rare for FISA applications to be rejected, but it is even rarer than I thought.
According to official statistics released by the U.S. government,
out of 35,529 FISA applications between 1979 and 2013, only 12 were rejected.
