I'm not really new to subsume, just new to SH5.
played SH3 GWX and the u-47 warship mod before.. it's just not running anymore on Win 10
the screenshot thread and the low price for sh5 got me buy sh5
yesterday I attempted the mission again. Taskforce shows up where they should - around the marked area.
I got into a perfect position to lurk.. well again the Luftwaffe ruined my day by driving them away and sinking one of them.
after an hour of chasing the remaining dd I got his attention and he tried to chase me - my trap snapped.. at least I thought so.
first torpedo(electric) set to 1m depth went right under the target. would have been a perfect bullseye under the funnel.. after another 5 torpedo wasted - 3 evaded, 2 same as the first one - I set my last electric torpedo to 2m depth and magnetic fuse and that ripped the dd apart
anyways that was good for learning - mission not complete though. I think I need to kill the 2nd v&w class destroyer too. that means I need to start the whole patrol all over again
