Again, this AI behaviour just seems to be so odd. Encountering an expert-crew destroyer in 1939 that can spot me with no radar in the middle of the night from a massive distance is just too unlikely IMO. I've downloaded LSH3 actually, hopefully it will do better once I get it to run properly
