Ahoy there skipper! Well I think I know how to install mi mods matey. I firstly unzip the mod into the "MODS" folder in the game. Then I "Activate" the mod via JSGME and thGeneric Mod Enabler - v2.6.0.157 at is it I believe shipmate???

I then play the game!

I use the CD game .. Not steam my friend.

MODS INSTALED

[C:\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 5\MODS]
VII-C Skin by Naights
stoianm upgrade available mod
Equip_Upgrades_AFFOE
