I think I did something wrong. No CTD or anything but nothing was changed.
So a couple of questions:
1. Do you have to uninstall anything thing via JSGME to get this to work. Meaning does WOS have to be uninstalled before using the OFVE before reinstalling it. (I think you don't get the OFVE in the SH5>data>applications folder without installing WOS1.06 first...so I don't know if this makes sense).
Well you have to install the mod first to get the right .py file to modify it
2. When setting path...do I set it to A. SH5>data>menu>menu.txt or SH5>Mods>WOS1.06>data>menu>menu.txt
SH5>data>menu>menu.txt
3. my .py file under SH5>data>scripts>menu didn't get modified but under SH5>mods>WOS1.06>data>scripts>menu it did. I think the wrong .py file got modified maybe? And if so..is there a "fix". Nothing in game seems different (but it still works)...so I guess i'm worried if I go back and use the OFVE on the correct .py file..I'll have two different modified .py files in different folders. And since it modified the MOD, I would have to overwrite the original .py file would I not?
I just found the original .py file (from when I downloaded the MOD) and replace the one I accidentally modified...no problems occurred.
4. You don't need to be in port to use the OFVE right?
This is correct...you can modify the .py at any time when out of the game...and you should see the changes when you load up next time
Thanks in advance.
