Unless you have set your dive planes to manual, you should not have any problems diving your boat to a depth of 180 meters. Your chief can trim the boat at any speed to any depth up to that limit.
After 180 meters, you have to maintain at least slow ahead and you will have to manually adjust the dive planes to keep from sinking. For some reason your chief suddenly forgets how to trim the boat at depths beyond 180 meters.
