Where has Kpt. Lehmann been? Seems like he hasn't posted in a long while.

He's been ill and recovering at the moment, regreatably, both him and rubini are out of the modding business for a while, and they are the better prepared to give an aswer to that question, to be honest, I've been programming some tools and I haven't got time even to try the 1,1 update, so I don't know on which file the Kpt. based the upgrade, but if your computer can handle the traffic on ports, I'll recomend to stick with rubini's version of UC, for what I've understand the Kpt. removes some traffic and some mines from the campaign to make it more "low end computer" friendly, hope this helps.

I'm not dead just yet :|\
... just ill and working my real-life job too much so my involvement here will be limited for a little while.
We still have big plans for the next evolution of GW... LOL and probably not what you are all thinking.
Thanks Ref, you, vonHelsching, Syxx-Killer, Gouldjg, and Cdre Gibs have been wonderful helping GW users with much needed answers to questions. I can't tell you how much the help means to me.
To all, towards the final days that Rubini was available for modding he produced several works that employed the GW campaign files from GW version 1.0.
I love Rubini's work and consider him a personal friend. However, in the process of supporting GW stand-alone users and building the GW v1.1 update, I've been unable to take a good look at his campaign variants. For these same reasons, I can only fully support the GW mod itself. I wish there was more of me to go around... but there isn't.
That being said, somewhere there is a thread relating to his campaign variant releases that contains many answers to commonly asked questions.
If someone has time to find it and bump it I will log the topic ID# and be able to refer prospective users to it.
