"NAE Bacon" - A British Royal Naval term typically used when profligate use of ships stores results in a shortfall in beacons available for deployment. e.g. Skipper: "Release a beacon on my mark, ensign." Ensign: "Sir. I canna do it, we hae NAE Beacons left!"
