Actualy the RN would need a STOBAR (Short Take Off But Arrested Recovery) or CATOBAR (Catapult Assisted Take Off But Arrested Recovery) for carrier work CTOL jet would tend to get wet... very wet...
Why does the RAF use V/STOL? Is it for small air strips and such like the USMC trains to use?
