Of course, you kind of need carriers that are large enough to deploy those JSFs from as well. That means you're stuck waiting for the CVF (Queen Elizabeth?) class carriers, which should be ready at some point within 2012-2015.
HUH? Is the FAA not getting the B like the USMC? Those can take off our Tarawa and Wasp class Amphibious assault ships which have a flight deck comparable to a Invincible class ASW Carrier.
They are, but the Invincibles are too small to field an adequate number of JSFs. The CVFs for the RN are needed to have an adequate air arm at sea.
Would be nice to have A naval air arm, full stop...
