Of course, you kind of need carriers that are large enough to deploy those JSFs from as well. That means you're stuck waiting for the CVF ( Queen Elizabeth?) class carriers, which should be ready at some point within 2012-2015. |
HUH? Is the FAA not getting the B like the USMC? Those can take off our Tarawa and Wasp class Amphibious assault ships which have a flight deck comparable to a Invincible class ASW Carrier. |
They are, but the Invincibles are too small to field an adequate number of JSFs. The CVFs for the RN are needed to have an adequate air arm at sea. |
