The Counter-electronics High-powered Advanced Missile Project (CHAMP) was tested by a Boeing Phantom Works/U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory Directed Energy Directorate team on October 16 at the Utah Test and Training Range.

@Jim maybe I was wrong when you brought up the subject that a Russian jet fly by did damage to the USN destroyer's electronic's. Perhaps I spoke too soon and Russia already has this advanced tech tool and instead of what looks like a vanity fly by is really a weapons test.
