Default try this

Possible solution:

I have tested my idea about patrol based fatigue. Over a long day I didn't change the crew on station, even during a storm. They only tired from 25-30% in 19 hours. When sent to rest they recovered very slowly over 4-6 hours. I hope these results, when used in normal patrol operations will see the crew gradually tire until it would be noticeable at the end of a long or tough patrol.

Here are the modified parameters for the basic.cfg file. Note this is not the whole file, just the line changes.

crew sections by rank, change each rank fatigue lines to:

FatigueStep=0.01

CoefFatigue=0.02

Note: 1/10th what it was.

now down to the compartment sections.

;comp6
SpecificFactor60=-0.0025
SpecificFactor61=-0.0025
;comp7
SpecificFactor70=-0.0025
SpecificFactor71=-0.0025

Comp 6 and 7 are the crew quarters. These numbers have been changed by a lot.

Result is slower to tire crew with smaller recovery. Captain can forget about it unless on very arduous or long patrols.
