If you have the Gold Edition of SH4, you don't need any patches. The Gold Edition is v1.5 and the latest version. As for your disk not installing correctly. There could be any number of reasons for this. What kind of PC did you reinstall Win 7 on, laptop or desktop? If the disk doesn't load automatically, have you tried manually to get it going?
