Hi KeybdFlyer first thing you need to do is find out what the Silent Hunter 3 Version is you can do this by just moving your mouse pointer over the SH3 exe a little box pops up look at File Version if it says 1.4.0.1 then all is good & trying to patch a already patched SH3 you would get that Error message so if you need to patch your SH3 theres 4 Possible patches for what ever vesion of the game
you have

1. EMEA DVD EUROPE

2.EMEA DOWNLOAD (FOR DOWNLOADED SH3 VERSION) EUROPE

3. EMEA DVD USA

4. EMEA DOWNLOAD ( FOR DOWNLOADED VERSION OF THE GAME) USA

LINK BELOW HOPE THIS HELPS THESE PATCHES ARE FROM UBISOFT SO THEY ARE THE RIGHT ONES
AND HAVE NO ADDWARE
