Welcome aboard!
Any of the good supermods will put you into a whole new world. You can't imagine all the things you still have to discover. Once you leave the stock game you'll never go back.
1. Yes it does. I've been playing it since the beginning. Well, actually I've been experimenting with it from the beginning. I doubt I have many more hours on it than you do.
2. I'm terrible at math. I've never played at 100%. Oh, and a piece of advice: You can't steer with the engines, so if your rudder is destroyed you can't get home. If you play at 99% you can use the available teleport function to do that.
3. You've got me there. As I said, my math sucks.
4. My notes in our '100 Years Ago Today' thread in General Topics largely come from U-boat.net. It is one of several valuable resources we discuss from time to time.
5. Same here, though in eleven years I've never completed a career...except of course for the ones that ended badly.
1. Also Command/Control room.
2. Hasn't been done yet. There is, however, SH3 Commander, an external tool that lets you control many game functions with a single click, including removing fatigue entirely. Not realistic, but more so than what we have now.

One fun 'bug'. Before docking, always go to normal time for a bit. Have done this in accelerated time and sometimes doesn't give you tonnage credit.

My preferred supermod is GWX. I always sail out from and into the harbors in regular time, just looking at all the ships, the dockside activities, the planes flying overhead...
Keep enjoying it. I do.
