Don't know much about U47's mod.
Are you sure he added slots? There is a 3x4 FLAK-slot configuration available in original SH3 with a tripple 2cm-Vierling FLAK turm.

Or in other words: do you have more than 12 FLAK-slots in his Battleship mod?
