Any Skippers know the percentage of Dud Torpedoes that were carried on US subs during the beginning of the war ? I,ve had a few close shaves with enemy escorts and Destroyers ,and with TMO installed and knowing there are Duds on board I,m not taking on the warships but going deep (must be loosing my nerve ) Anyhow its not in the true USN tradition I am sure, not to send em a fish . What chances do I have of sending one to the bottom ?
