Was told by my Sister today, that my niece is, after the psychologists and others had studied her that her IQ is among the top of the 1% gifted children in Denmark.

This didn't surprise me at all.

My sister was told to take contact with Mensa. I don't know if she are going to do this or if she are not going to contact them.
