I copied the ships I wanted from v2's sea folder to v1.3's sea folder. I then made sure they were in the proper roster folder and it worked. I only did Japanese ships though. And they only show up randomly but I run into them pretty regularly. However when I was up against certain DD's I noticed that the turrets weren't rendering in game and thats when I noticed the whole JP2 thing in the link name. You also have to add them to the names file in the roster folder. I hope this helps you. I know it isnt perfect but I'm no modder.
