Ok, I'm not at home now, but the deck gun and flack gun 2D screen processing sections are in the menu_1024_768.ini file. As memory serves me, their in the 38; 39; and 3a sections. One is the deck gun (for both sides), the other the U.S. flack gun, the other is the German flack gun. Sorry, don't remember just which is which?!?
Not that I know for sure....but adding say the "Binocular compass" entries into one of these sections may give you what you want. You'll need to change a lot of the Binocular compass ID's to match the Deck Gun or Flack Gun ID's your adding the compass to (in order to make the compass work on these screens)......IF it will at all!?!
But hey, that's what modding is all about. Trying something to see if it will work!!
