Just add a wireless gamepad to the periscope in my SH4 simulator and it's working great. Have been able to program all the controls for both scopes and are able to make much quicker and accurate observations.
Before this I had never thought to use a gamepad with SH4. Now working on a setup to use gamepad with TBT, binoculars and deck gun.
For better control of the periscope and deck gun on a desktop pc a gamepad on some kind of desk mount would seem like the way to go.
I did a search for gamepad desk mounts and was surprised that it didn't seem like any existited?
