Tja tja. A linux server spreading malware may not harm Linux systems (which does not mean there is no malware also harming Linux, there is such malware, and it is slowly growing), since it mostly distributes malware designed to attack Windows, but many Linux nerds take it extremely queer anyway if you tell them there is a remaining risk involved, and that not caring for infesting Windows systems via Linux at least is "not nice".

Never question "Linux is safe" when Linux nerds are present, as long as you do not want to get a knowledge about how crucification tastes.

Linux is safer, much safer still, yes. Careless you still should not act, nevertheless. Their are risks, and their numbers are growing.
