Yes it did. it began with a vicious attack on the government.
And ended with the total subjugation of the rebel faction.
The most noteworthy fight was the Battle of Flin Flon, Manitoba, in which more that 300 snowballs were thrown in one night. The bloodiest battle, though, was at Kelowna, BC, where a child fell off his tricycle and skinned his knee.
To quote Ken Burns' forgotten documentary, "The Canadian Civil War was fought in more than three places, over a period of three hours. The sacrifices made there will almost certainly be forgotten, especially by those who suffered through them."
